Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House
In 1988, Gary Fish established a small brewpub in downtown Bend, Oregon and named it after the Deschutes River. He wanted to build a gathering place for the community, a spot where friends, family, and neighbors would come together over a house-brewed pint of beer. The Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House remains in its original location, and Deschutes now has a production facility that makes 225,000 bbls each year just a few miles away. Some of the original Deschutes beers that were brewed on the 10 bbl brewing system, like Bachelor Bitter, Cascade Golden Ale and Black Butte Porter are still on rotation at the pub! The pub has a beer-centric menu of farm-to-table dishes and delicious desserts. Reservations are accepted but not required, there is a private event space available for special events, there is a game room, and there are often special events like locals night, live music, trivia, bingo and more.
